Wedding Ring Exchange Wording

The past is not dead, it is living in us and will be alive in the future... (Art Time n.2)

He comes from the Abyss. The days moved
of whom I wrote a few posts ago, we were really, but now, if the Great Heavenly Demon want, are over.

In my second post I talk a little art 'of the Pre-Raphaelites.
without making the barren little lesson, first because I am not able: P and second because I could not add anything new to what you may very well find in books and on the Internet.
Then I start with an unusual point of view, with one thing that struck me too.
are a good fan of adventure games , which, rather than actual game to resemble more "interactive stories."
"The hero" of these adventures, "controlled by a simple pointing device (mouse, joystick, joypad or a few keys on the keyboard - why they are also called" point and click "), can explore a virtual world displayed on the screen, collect objects in an inventory and use them, alone or in combination with others, to solve the puzzles the game presents, and finally interact with the characters he meets , choosing the phrases to say between a set of choices "(thanks Wikipedia). Very important aspects of these giiochi are thus the set, the soundtrack, the characters, especially the script.
At the beginning of this passion I have met a title (which I found to be part of a trilogy), really interesting. Dark Fall - The Journal of Mysteries ( Dark Fall: The Journal ).
Not to bore you to stay here too, however I think that they have done well: P, suffice it to say that this game is set in an old abandoned hotel near a train station in England. The action consists of an 'in-depth investigation (to find out, of course) which means, in other words, having to stick their nose into everything.
Wandering among the rooms of this hotel was a nice surprise to find reproductions of Pre-Raphaelite paintings.
I recognized:
Cophetua King and The Beggar Maid (1883) by Edward Burne-Jones
Inglese Our Coasts (1852) by William Holman Hunt
The Knight Errant (1870) by John Everett Millais
Guinevere (1857) by William Morris
And ever Burne-Jones (l ' I found inside a box in a closet: P) The Golden Stairs (1876-80)
However, since we're on the subject, my favorite painting by Burne-Jones remains The beguiling of Merlin (1873-74), while Hunt Isabella and The Pot of Basil (1867), Light of The World (1851-53) and this beautiful Self-Portrait of 1867, which, I think, should be in the Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence (or so I read). Let's go see him? (The Lady of Shalott I've already posted long ago). As for Millais love The Eve of St. Agnes (1863), The Martyr of Solway (1871) * __ * and Sweetest Eyes Were Ever Seen (special mention to The Bridesmaid (1851), with all that hair ...: D) And then who cares if they made fun of when he painted children and girls XD
Instead of Morris prefer the decorative motifs (My other big fix: D) as this . Mmm very nearly as new wallpaper of livejournal I put one of his ...
return to the game, there were not some pre-Raphaelite paintings, and others who could not see well. I hope you all see better in the third chapter in the saga ( Dark Fall III: Lost Souls ) in which (after a second set elsewhere) it's back to the infamous hotel, with the same conditions worsened, but with improved graphics.
The second chapter, Dark Fall II - The Secret of the Lighthouse ( Dark Fall II: Lights Out ) consider other places and other times, but I could not keep from giggling when "entering" in a small room of the lighthouse I found myself face to face with Beata Beatrix (1864-70) of Dante Gabriel Rossetti.
Character artist and very interesting, Rossetti. I appreciate it, but it is not among my favorite painters. He and his trans ... um ... ladies from strong features, however there are his works that I like very much, for example: The Holy Grail , The Beloved (aka The Bride, 1865-66), Self-Portrait of 1847 (cute, eh? But I understand it, the astute self-portrayed more cool than it really was, just compare the paintings with Photos: P Ok, not true for everyone ...) and A Sea Spell (1877).
Also in the spotlight I found:
La belle dame sans merci Frank Dicksee (not officially a pre-Raphaelite, but we are there: D)
Miranda, The Tempest (1916) by John William Waterhouse
Ophelia (1851-52) by John Everett Millais (No I say, could possibly be missing? And sorry cuts)
do not know if the surprises end here because this chapter I have just started (but in the case, I will let you know XD)
Dicksee is the author of the picture in my header and is therefore already a sign of esteem XD
My Nino ... um ... Waterhouse, for me, is a kind of god, all his paintings are wonderful, but for obvious reasons, I put just a few: D Circe offering the Cup to Ulysses (1891), Circe Invidious (1892), Saint Eulalia (1885), The Magic Circle (1886), Lady of Shalott (1888).
In addition, during my first year of the Academy, the theme of course was the "cover" and then we would have to a project that followed this speech. I got the idea to play three works by three different authors and periods, in manga version . One of them was A Mermaid (1901) by Waterhouse. My
cover (a you do not like the comics: you can not even watch: P) and non-official
Affiliates and supporters of the Brotherhood of the Pre-Raphaelites there were others, I choose to appoint Arthur Hughes with the (for me) beautiful The Property Room and Ophelia (And he will not come again?) (1863-71).
Finally, another great but was not a pre-Raphaelite, but if you engage some things in common you can find: D Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema. Here it is: In the Tepidarium (1881), Pandora (1881), The Favourite Poet (1888) and Spring (1894).
I know, I know, the years of these studies vary widely and therefore are not exactly all season due to the great pre-Raphaelite, but come on, do not make the tax; P
Finally let me add a little anecdote that always amuses me when we I think. The members of the Brotherhood
loved being surrounded by an aura of mystery and secrecy (This may be due to the fact that the most charismatic figure of the group or Dante Gabriel Rossetti was the son of an exiled Italian Carbonari) and sign their works with the initials PRB (Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood , of course), not originally revealing its true meaning. To those who question them replied that it meant Please Ring Bell or Penis Rather Better .
Humorous English.

With this link can be found online of a part of the series Art Dossier dedicated to Pre-Raphaelites, towards the end there is a page with the bibliography (I do this because I've got the file, but I did not want to copy the titles of the books: P, among other things, some I've checked and I do not think that they are so easy to find) is
others (whereas I have not checked yet what really would be worth buying and what does not and especially what you can find it).
On the real. Osmosis interartistiche in English Pre-Raphaelites and the Symbolism

Roma Capitale. La differenziazione del ruolo della Capitale d’Italia dagli altri Comuni, motivata dall’essere sede degli Organi costituzionali nonché di Rappresentanze diplomatiche presso la Repubblica italiana, presso lo Stato della Città del Vaticano e presso le Istituzioni internazionali, implica particolari profili di governance del territory of the city, pursuant to Article 114, third paragraph, of the Constitution, which reserves to state law to decide on the sort. The text has been enshrined in the agreement in the Joint Conference and the views were acquired, accepted in full, of the Parliamentary Committees

Funny Menu Restaurant Sayings

http://www.ilgiornaledipachino. com/il-consorzio-igp-su-galan-da-irresponsabili-esprimersi-per-sentito-dire/38005

seems ended the impasse caused by the statements of Minister for Galan hearsay approached PGI cherry tomatoes to GMO products. The immediate reaction from the Coldiretti who judged the statements of the minister "excessive strains and generating confusion, destroying - writes the president of Coldiretti Sergio Marini - the value and distinctiveness of our Made in Italy food is l & rsquo ; only weapon we have to compete in national and international markets. "
Behind front of the Minister: good tomatoes of Pachino, nothing to do with GMOs
E 'was the same Minister to clarify his statements. "What has been written over and over times by newspapers and magazines, and that is that some quality of tomato studied in laboratories in Israel, which does not mean GM tomato-replica Minister of Agriculture, Giancarlo Galan in a statement - has taken root especially in the area So Pachino.Ottimi of the cherry tomatoes "that have nothing therefore to do with the ongoing debate on GMOs debate about issues related to research and experimentation.
Consortium Director PGI care to comment on hearsay
We note with satisfaction of moderate partial about-face made by the Minister Galan. "These statements by the Director Consortium, Salvatore Chiaramida, which adds in a footnote that "it is irresponsible to release news in the form of declarations doubtful, it is even more so when it is a Minister of the Republic, who even expressed to hearsay. One thing is fact that the first seeds of cherry tomato hybrids were marketed by an Israeli company, which made staying in the territory Pachino has found a better habitat due to climatic and environmental conditions that have made that you got the "best in the tomato world "(as has been described recently by Slow Food), another to define" the tomatoes a GM product. " If we add to everything that the IGP has been granted by his ministry that presides Galan, among other things, not just for the cherry tomato but also for the ribbed and smooth round, you have an idea of the superficiality of such statements from which it has rightly taken distances also the national president of Coldiretti, Sergio Marini. Unless, to think evil, such statements do not conceal very clear interests that the lawyer Veneto Giancarlo Galan wishes to facilitate. "
Doubts remain about the purpose of the joke of Galan, as it has been defined. A good thinking, however, we believe that the spirit is just like the hundreds of producers who undertake their daily physical and financial resources to ensure quality and authenticity in doubt, once again, by combinations of class to say the least phantom.
