And 'one of the first things I thought.
I find a good book, nothing memorable, but it is well written, moving and tells a story with several interesting insights. Then, as almost always happens, all the chatter around a real or perceived "phenomenon" has been exaggerated and unnecessary.
Personally, when any thing becomes a fashion tends to move away, not forever, but at least until the bubble has burst of enthusiasm.

XD Seriously, Jordan's book I especially appreciated some of the scenes very well shaded, which are imprinted in my mind as if I could really see before my eyes, also * spoiler alert * struck me that to get the injured was a boy. I'm not an expert in psychology or psychiatry, but I had always seen to approach this "problem" with the girls. Not having read the reviews and knowing just what Paul Giordano I've read on wikipedia: P I do not know whether it is a "simple" invention or if it is somehow documented, thanks anyway, I take note.
I close by saying that if someone really thinks that people in the book can not be part of our reality or can not see beyond their noses or, alternatively, has lived for months in a hole in the ground. More or less similar stories can be heard even just casually listening to a newscast. And unfortunately I've seen a couple of very close, almost touching them ...
Out of curiosity I gave a look at the trailer for the film by Saverio Costanzo ... and I shuddered. No, not is an opinion, rather than only after complete and I hope very much that is better than the impression that I did the trailer * Hans-am-optimistic *
